I am at a monastery. We are going to have dinner. There are a lot of people setting the table. But I am in the wrong room. It´s not my diningroom. I have to go out to another room. On the way I meet my sister. She is together with her little son. She seems to spend a weekend in the monastery. She says: „Hello.“ My nephew has got a picture in his hand. He has painted the picture. He goes quickly through the corridor.

dream IIIa

We are sitting with the familiy at a restaurant. We are sitting at a big table. There is a kind of „show“ in the restaurant. An old man in white clothes is joking with the people and is doing tricks. He is acting behind a window. All of a sudden he starts running fast and jumps through the pane of glass! The people are very upset about the trick. Is he injured? Yes, a little bit. His finger is bleeding. But he is still joking. There are shards of glass everywhere. He goes to my sister. She is sitting at the table and it seems that she is crying the whole time. The man in white clothes wants to pour her some more wine. But my mother is upset: „Don´t you see that she is crying?“

dream II: Exam

I sit together with some other students. We prepare together for our exam in theology. We study the bible. We have to learn the strucutre of the stories written in the bible. We have to learn the exact structure of the chapters. I am frightened not to pass the exam. One student asks me: „Can you tell me the structure of this book?“ I try to answer. I say: “ It can be devided just in two parts in the middle of the book.“ – The student answers to my relief: „Yes, you´re right!“
I didn´t expect that it was the right answer. But I feel now more self-confident. I remember the stuff I once learned.

I write something in my dream. It´s a very colourful and short dream. Do I paint something? I can´t see it clearly. My father is coming. He asks me: “Are you ready?“ - I answer: „Yes, I am.“ And I just start writing the last sentence. I write with a brush in thick, red letters: „This is the end of the first act.“

I am at the musicschool. I want to start my job. I come into my room. Everything is already prepared. I look onto the table. My books and notes are already laying on the table. My pencil is already laying on the table. The book where i use to write pupils homework in is opened. I wonder who prepared everything for me: The secretary?

dream IV

I am at my old school. It´s the primary school. Today there was the parent-teacher conference. I´s over now. There is a table on the corridor. There are a lot of cakes on the table. Cakes with fruits. There is a sign at the table: „To take away“.

dream III

I am at a piano pupils house. I just gave some piano lessons there. I feel very tired. I am laying in a bed. I am used to stay overnight in this house everytime I gave a piano lesson. I wonder very much about it. The mother of the pupil is sitting at the bed. She asks:“ Are you tired?“ – „Yes I am.“

All of a sudden we can hear the father shouting at his son: „You have to do your homework! You have to do your homework!!!“ He seems to be very angry. I get frightened. I want to leave this house. But I can´t.

dream II: I am blind

I am at a station. I am not alone. There is a friend with me. We want to change the train. and we are waiting somewhere on the platform. Another woman appears. She´s working at the station. She is a controller. She talks to me: „What are you doing here?“ I am scared. I look after my friend. She´s not there. She went away. I am alone – and I am blind. I don´t want to let the controller know that I am a blind person.

I have got a newspaper in my hand. It´s the german „BILD“-newspaper. The controller takes the newspaper and strokes with here fingers carefully about the red BILD-logo and about the written text. All of a sudden she shouts out:“It´s Braille! This is a newspaper for blind persons!“

I get very frightened. I don´t want her to know that I am blind. Suddenly the newspaper starts burning. The controller holds the burning newspaper in her hands. I feel helpless. I don´t know where to go. It´s dangerous for me to move on the platform without a helping hand.

The controller makes a step forwards. I just follow the heat of the burning newspaper. Otherwise I would stand alone. I keep on following the warming fire.

The controller is shouting: „You are blind! Now I understand. You are a blind person! You just follw the heat of the burning newspaper. Otherwise you were completely lost!“

dream I

dream

I dreamed to drive a car. I come to a farm. I want to say good-bye to a woman which I know. She lives at the farm. But she seems not to be at home.

A maid is coming. She says: „Keep waiting in the stable.“ She gives an apron to me. She tells me: „A few years ago there was a wedding here. Many children came to the celebration. All children but one wanted to see the brides white wedding dress. There was one girl that didn´t want to see the wedding-dress at all. This girl just wanted to see and stroke the horse that dragged the wedding-carriage.

I go into the stable. I see the horse. It´s a little bit fat, brown and calm. I come closer and stroke the horses blaze. I am very careful.

I keep on waiting in the stable. But the woman I wait for doesn´t appear. I give the apron back to the maid. There are a lot of animals at the farm. Chickens and a wolf. The wolf is very upset and snarls. I become very frightened. But the wolf is tied.

I don´t meet the woman I was waiting for. I decide to move on. I am driving away.
